Fiddes Liquid Floor Wax - 1 Litre

Fiddes Liquid Floor Wax is an easy to apply, quick drying clear wax finish which nourishes and protects wooden floors and surfaces. It is suitable for use on most finishes including stains, oil, hard wax oil such as Fiddes Hard Wax Oil and varnishes, it can also be applied to untreated wooden floors and surfaces. As with all wood treatments we strongly recommend doing a small test area first.

Preparation:
When applying to previously finished floors clean the floor with Fiddes Floor Surface Cleaner and allow to fully dry before applying the Liquid Floor Wax.
Bare wood should be sanded in stages to a medium grit (180), all sanding dust thoroughly removed.

Application:
Shake well then using a clean lint free cotton cloth apply lightly in the direction of the grain. Apply evenly and take care to immediately remove any excess with a separate cloth. The best results are achieved by applying sparingly and working on small areas at a time, the surface can then be buffed to the desired sheen level by hand or with a mechanical polisher. For larger areas poor a small amount of floor wax on to the floor and brush out evenly, leave to dry for 15 minutes and then buff with a microfibre pad.

Coverage:
Approximately 16m² per litre depending on the substrate and method of application. 1 coat application
