Flag Paint's Asipo Algicidal Treatment Concentrated is diluted 4:1 so a 1 litre container gives an equivalent of 5 litres and a 5 litres makes 25 litres. This means that a 1 litre tin can cover approximately 60 - 100m².

This simple to apply biocide concentrate is an effective and easy way to kill and provide short to medium term protection against mould, lichens, mosses and algae. It is easy to apply and when dry can be overcoated by most conventional paints including Roofix and Protectakote. A 2.5 litre container will treat up to 250m².

It is an ideal way to treat your Patio, Decking, Driveway, Fencing, Roofing or any outdoor hard surface. Flag Asipo is the perfect way to prepare your flat roof before applying Roofix to ensure spores don't germinate under the coating once applied.

Faqs

How long will an open tin of Roofix last for?

Providing no water has got in to the tin, the lid has been completely re-sealed and it is stored away from sources of heat, direct sunlight, frost and any extremes of temperature it should last 12 - 18 months.

Can I use Roofix for walkways?

No, Roofix has to remain slightly soft and flexible so it can cope with the movement of a roof as it heats up and cools down.

Should I replace the chippings once the Roofix has dried?

No, chippings are not necessary for Roofix and have sharp corners on them so are likely to puncture the coating when they are walked on.
