Ensure wood surface is dry and clean. Product is ready to use as is. Do not thin, stir well before use. Clean or gently sand old microporous finishes, remove any old varnish and ensure all small cracks, larger dents and small holes in the wood are filled and smooth.

Application:

Osmo Wood Wax Finish Clear Extra Thin can be applied by brushing, wiping, dipping, or spraying in an enclosed unit.

Apply evenly along the wood grain with a Natural Bristle Brush or a lint-free cloth (e.g. for furniture).

1st coat: apply thinly. Allow to dry for approx. 30 minutes with good ventilation. Wipe away any excess product. Reapply to unsaturated areas.

Repeat for a 2nd coat.

Recommended number of coats: 1 coat for furniture / 2 coats for flooring.

When renovating, one coat applied to a clean and dry surface is usually sufficient.

Always test the product on a small sample area before complete application.

Please Note:

For non-exotic wood species such as Oak, Pine or Spruce use Osmo Polyx®-Oil.

Some wood species have different levels of natural oil, resin and tanning content. Exotic wood species have a very high natural oil content and this product is designed for these types of woods.

Over application and/or low ventilation can increase the drying times.
