Osmo Top Oil

Osmo TopOil or Worktop oil is designed for kitchen worktops and furniture and is resistant to wine, beer, cola, coffee, tea, water, milk and even fruit juice. It is tough hardwearing, easy to apply and maintain, Osmo Top Oil is available in a range of finishes, clear and tinted versions, designed to fit in with most Kitchen designs.

Top Oil is easy to apply with a lint free cloth, brush or roller but it must always be applied sparingly. A 500ml tin will cover approximately 6m² with the recommended two coats making it a very economic and effective way to treat your wooden worktop.

Application Tips:

• Always shake the tin well before use, when using a test sachet make sure the contents is well mixed up before opening.
• Top Oil is not suitable for woods rich in extractive oils such as mahogany, teak, Cedar etc. For these woods use Wood Wax Extra Thin, always do a test application.
• For kitchen worktops made from more absorbent woods such as pine, birch or spruce apply a coat of 4006 wood protector, again always do a trial application as it will darken wood slightly.
• Don't use Osmo 3068 Top Oil on darker woods and ensure any excess is removed from the surface before leaving to dry.
• Surfaces take 2 - 3 weeks to fully cure and reach maximum strength.
• Don't use household cleaners or washing up liquid as they will strip off the coating over time.
• Use Osmo Spray Cleaner or OsmoUK anti bac wood cleaner.

• 125ml Pots - Perfect for repairs, small areas or larger tests, can cover up to 3m² with a single coat
• 500ml tins - suitable for up to 12m² with a single coat
