Areas of Use:
This heavy duty (Elastomeric) anti slip floor paint is ideal for areas that are subjected to frequent heavy use such as stairs, walkways, industrial work areas and car parks. The paint incorporates a finely crushed dolomite stone to give a low profile fine textured anti slip finish which is easy to maintain and clean. The product also has good UV resistance so can be used for external and internal appllications.
Suitable substrates include Concrete, Stone, Tarmac, aged Asphalt, primed Ferrous Metals and Wood.

Please note because of the nature of the product the RAL and BS4800 colours provided are the closest available but not necessarily an exact match. The colours shown will appear different on different on different screens and printers, if in doubt always apply a test area first.

When applying Flag Heavy Duty Anti Slip Floor Paint (Elastomeric) the surface must be clean, stable, firm, dry and free of dust, grease & oil. Any loose materials including flaking or loose old paint must be removed prior to application. With porous substrates such as concrete the first coat should be diluted with HD thinners by 10%.
New concrete should not be painted for a minimum of 6 - 8 weeks after laying, power floated concrete should be acid etched or mechanically prepared to remove the shine and give some texture to the surface prior to application. When applying to large area or if you are unsure of the suitability we always recommend carrying a test application to an inconspicuous area first.
